#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Eleven students from Polar State University (PSU) have entered the race for medals in the all-Russian atudent contest I Am a Professional, according to the university’s press service.
Four computer science students have successfully passed the qualifying round. Senior students Alexey Shikan, Yulia Lakhmostova, and Alexander Tsymbalyuk have advanced to the semifinals in the Information and Cybersecurity category. Additionally, first-year student Leonid Milkov will participate in both semifinals and finals in two categories: Business Informatics and Digital Product Management and Innovation.
The largest contingent of competitors for prizes and medals comes from the mining students, who are not only showcasing their skills in their primary field but also exploring related disciplines.
In the Geology category, PSU is represented by six aspiring specialists. These students are currently preparing to tackle case studies and challenges presented by some of Russia’s largest companies in the semifinals and finals of the I Am a Professional’s contest VIII season.
