#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Vladimir Potanin charitable foundation, together with TASS, is opening an outdoor photo exhibition Road of Good Deeds on Gogolevsky boulevard in Moscow, telling about the cultural and natural attractions of Russian regions.
“The exhibition is based on photographs of nature reserves, national parks and cultural heritage sites of Russia, where the foundation’s volunteer programs have been held for several years. We want viewers not only to see photographs, but also to feel a living connection between these places and the opportunities they offer to everyone who is ready to bring their ideas to life, changing the world around them”, TASS quotes the words of the foundation’s general director Oksana Oracheva.
Each photo in the exhibition is accompanied by a route offering an interesting journey through the region. As Oracheva notes, the exhibition format is not accidental.
“This year the foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary. In a quarter of a century, we have come a long way. And the anniversary is a good reason to look back and see how much has been done and how much remains to be done.
Over the three years of the project’s implementation, 65 volunteer programs have been held, in which more than 500 scholarship holders, 40 teachers and 25 employees of the foundation have taken part, that is, more than 560 people in total”, she said.
Earlier, we reported how young people in the region are learning smart investments together with Nornickel.
