#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The polar bear rescued in Dikson has returned to its natural habitat. This was told by the Rosprirodnadzor head Svetlana Radionova.
According to her, the inspectors flew by helicopter over the territory where the bear was left after being freed of the tin can. No traces of the animal were found. Based on that, experts came to the conclusion that the she-bear got well and continued her natural lifestyle.
“We are sure that the animal has safely returned to nature. We will be grateful to everyone who can share photos and videos of the she-bear with us. We wish our bear long live in the wild. We hope that she will no longer need human help”, the department head wrote in her Telegram channel.
Recall that the story of the polar bear that got into trouble was followed by caring residents from all regions of the country. After a tin can got stuck in the mouth of the predator, she came to the village of Dixon for help. Local residents tried to pull out the can, but failed. The situation was taken under control by Rosprirodnadzor. Together with the Nornickel company, Moscow veterinarians rescued the young polar bear female.
