#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The project of the unique Arctic vessel Umka, developed by the engineers of the St. Petersburg Admiralty Shipyards, got a special jury award in the open competition of the United Shipbuilding Corporation in the field of design and artistic aesthetics of civilian ships and marine equipment.
The vessel, designed by the Petersburgers, is intended to serve cruise lines in high latitudes. We are talking about a comfortable five-deck ice-class motor ship, which is capable of conquering the Arctic waters and comfortably transporting tourists to the Arctic. According to the website of JSC Admiralty Shipyards, the admiralty took the icebreaking corps as a basis.
