On Miner’s Day and the 60th anniversary of Snezhnogorsk, a ceremony to honor the residents of the village and a concert program with the participation of creative groups from Norilsk is planned: the Oganer folk dance ensemble and the Voices vocal studio will congratulate people.
An entertainment program with master classes, family areas and photo zones will be organized for guests. In addition, there will be a gastrofest Russian Cuisine, as well as a treat with fish soup, shulum and tea. The anniversary event will end with a disco and fireworks.
On August 24 and 25, the traditional celebrations will take place in Talnah.
The Solnyshko stadium will host mini-football, darts, beach volleyball, streetball, kettlebell lifting and fun starts.
All exhibitions will be available for the district guests and residents in the Talnah branch of the Norilsk Museum.
Talnah residents will be able to take bus tours to memorable places, see an exhibition of fire and emergency rescue equipment and machinery, take part in a chess tournament, outdoor games, and an asphalt drawing competition.
The main event of the holiday will be the performance of honored artist of the Russian Federation Pelageya.
In the Central district of Norilsk, Miner’s Day will be celebrated on August 25. Komsomolskaya square will host a concert of the Siberian Youth Orchestra for the first time beyond the Arctic Circle as part of the Northern Orchestral Academy project.
The All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Yury Bashmet is a partner of the project.
