#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In Taimyr, the results of passenger transportation by water transport during the summer river navigation of 2023 were summed up.
Transportation was carried out along the Yenisey and Hatanga rivers, their tributaries, as well as in Portovaya bay on Dikson. In total, more than 200 flights were carried out during the season, transporting about eight thousand passengers.
Along the route Dudinka – Ust-Port – Karaul – Nosok – Baikalovsk – Vorontsovo, the motor ships Hansuta Yaptune and SP-4 plied all summer, completing 60 trips. They transported more than 3.5 thousand people. Two vessels sailed along the Hatanga river: the motor ship Taimyr and the boat Logata, they performed 36 voyages, more than 1.5 thousand passengers used their services.
In the urban settlement of Dikson, regular passenger transportation in Portovaya bay through the Previn and Lena straits to Dikson harbor to cape Lemberov was carried out by the motor ship Stanislav Gumenyuk. This year it carried more than three thousand passengers on 117 flights.
In addition, passenger ships Alexander Matrosov and Valery Chkalov with a capacity of 250 passengers each sailed from Krasnoyarsk to Dudinka all summer – they completed 40 trips during the season, the Taimyr press service reports.
