#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On November 2, the Norilsk museum will open an exhibition of Siberian paper architecture – On the Way to a Dream: Someday City.
Architecture on paper is the unrealized designs of houses and objects that reflect the richness and imagination of artistic thought.

The new exhibition project will be presented by the curator, the Novosibirsk paper architecture group leader, artist Vyacheslav Mizin. Victor Smyshlyaev, Andrey Kuznetsov, Andrey Chernov, Sergey Grebennikov, Ivan Shalmin and others are also among the authors.
This unusual type of art also flourished in Norilsk during Soviet times. At the exhibition, museum guests will get acquainted with the bold works of Norilsk architects Alexander and Elizaveta Shipkov, who, in collaboration with Jekab-Olgert Trushinsh, invented completely new types of housing for extreme climatic conditions.
