#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Norilsk Polar drama theater, named after Vladimir Mayakovsky is being prepared for rebranding. The Norilsk residents are invited to take part in a survey and decide what changes the theater needs. The theater regularly offers experimental formats of performances and unusual ways of interacting with the public. Next in line is a new stage in the development of the northernmost theater in the world.
“It’s not just about changing the logo or symbols. Our task is to form a general picture of what the audience likes or dislikes in our theater. We ask about your favorite genres of performances and leisure activities, for example Theater Nights, creative evenings. We ask about the convenience of online and offline cash registers, the quality of our employees’ work. The Norilsk residents’ answers will help us understand in which direction we should develop, what to focus on”, says Anastasia Gryaznova, theater advertising manager.
The theater, which in 2009 was ranked among the most valuable objects of cultural heritage of the Krasnoyarsk region, will strive to find a balance between preserving traditions and heritage, but at the same time reflecting the prospects.
Not only avid theatergoers are invited to participate in the survey, but all residents of Norilsk. The results obtained will form the basis for updating the identity and site.
