“The Nornickel’s Dynasties corporate project is a vivid example of how you can unite family values in production, bring together families from different enterprises, including budgetary city institutions. I am sincerely glad and grateful to my colleagues for creating such a project, thanks to which we have the opportunity to spend more time with our loved ones, participating in various competitions with the whole family. When dads, moms and children are involved in events together, this is of great importance. This is priceless for each of us”, said the Norilsk head Dmitry Karasev.
In honor of the Family Year in Russia, couples who have lived together in marriage for more than 25 years are awarded the medal For Love and Fidelity. There are 35 families working at the company’s enterprises who have been awarded this medal. Nornickel’s management decided to distinguish married couples who have been together for 40 years or more at the gala evening.
In 2024, Nornickel families actively participated in federal and regional competitions, for which they were marked by the company’s authorities.
For participation in the Russian project With All the Family, 13 families, who became finalists of the project, were awarded.
Another significant project, in which the company employees’ families took part for the first time this year, is the IV all-Russian family video competition. Unique traditions, hobbies, holidays, travel, joint leisure – all this is only a small part of what the contestants tried to reflect in their creative works, because family is a source of inspiration and an important value in the life of every person.
The competition results will be announced in the first ten days of November. And for participation in the all-Russian competition Family of the Year at the gala evening, diplomas from the Krasnoyarsk region’s Social Policy Ministry were awarded to families of 14 company’s enterprises.
“Nornickel owes its achievements, impeccable reputation and solid foundation for future success to families like yours. Dynasties are the foundation on which moral values are born, family and professional traditions are formed. Our common goal is to preserve these glorious traditions and create conditions for the emergence of new ones. I thank you, your managers and everyone who finds time and puts their efforts into supporting this wonderful tradition. A deep bow to you for your contribution, because each new labor feat of a generation brings our company and our beloved city closer to new heights”, said Anastasia Perfilieva, deputy director of Nornickel’s for HR and social policy.
In addition, 24 large families from among the company’s employees were awarded diplomas for participating in the competition as part of the Family of Russia award.
The project’s most important award for 2024, the title of Dynasty of the Year, was awarded to eight families.
“How many amazing families I’ve seen in the hall today! Last year, a small hall on the second floor was enough for us to hold this ceremony. Now, just a year later, this bigger hall is almost completely filled. This is evidence of the colossal work of the organizers, who managed to attract twice as many participants. It is especially joyful to see how the little ones who were here last year have grown up. I admire how the participants find time for all this, despite their main jobs. After all, many of them work in production, but at the same time manage to find strength and inspiration for active recreation. You can dance, sing, and even shoot music videos. Your desire and energy are worthy of great respect. You are an example of an ideal family based on love, loyalty, and mutual respect. I sincerely thank you and those managers who support such initiatives”, emphasized Alexey Bylkov, of Nornickel’s Polar Division’s first deputy director for the mineral resources base development.
The Nornickel’s Dynasties corporate project helps families to become closer, parents show their best qualities and skills, and children learn from their example. It is thanks to hard work, proper upbringing, faith in their business and company that strong families and real dynasties are formed, which make the Nornickel’s basis.
