February 05, 2025

Plans are to start producing shoe covers in various sizes and colors.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Nornickel volunteers in the village of Nickel, along with specialists from the Pasvik Nature Reserve, are sewing eco-friendly reusable shoe covers for visitors to the Hans Skonning museum on Varlam island as the tourist season approaches. The initiative was proposed by the reserve’s staff and has been embraced by the activists of Nornickel’s corporate volunteering program The Factory of Good.

According to kn51.ru, the workshop is located in the reserve’s visitor center, and the first batch of shoe covers was completed last weekend.

The goal is to create reusable shoe covers in a variety of colors and sizes to cater to visitors of all ages.

Previously, activists from The Factory of Good organized a fair called Volunteers in the City.
