#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Nornickel experts took part in the International Forum Safety Technologies 2023, the leading national event on security issues in key sectors of the Russian economy, organized by the state corporation Grotek.
For the first time, within the framework of the Integrated Safety and Security of Industrial Facilities, the Oil and Gas Sector and the Electric Power Industry conference, at the Nornickel initiative, a discussion was held on the management of investment projects in the field of security: representatives of leading domestic companies from the mining and metallurgical, oil and gas, energy, and transport sectors participated.
Nornickel confirms its readiness to implement all projects announced for 2023, both to expand and modernize production, and to improve the environmental situation and develop the infrastructure of the regions where it operates. Which, in turn, also entails an increase in the number of investment projects in the field of security.
As a practical case for a project development and implementation in the field of corporate security, the forum participants were presented with a project for the digital transformation of the Nornickel companies group’s situational and analytical security centers system.
The Nornickel representatives’ speech caused a lively reaction and support from the forum participants. Based on the discussion results, readiness was expressed to continue the discussion both within the forum framework and at other deliberative and coordination platforms with the active involvement of relevant government authorities.
As a reminder, Nornickel’s capital investments in flagship projects have grown to record highs.
