#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Grant-Giving Organizations Association – Donor Forum – summed up the results of the annual all-Russian rating for socially responsible business Corporate Charity Leaders – 2022. It was attended by almost 100 Russian companies with an annual turnover of over 100 million rubles.
Participants were divided into six categories: Leaders, Best Practice, Foremost Practice, Good practice, Evolving Practice, Emerging Practice.
Nornickel entered the first group of the Leaders rating. In addition, the IMAKE LIGA project, which is being implemented as part of the World of New Opportunities charity program, won second place in the Best Program (Project) in the Field of Youth Policy of the Russian Federation category.
The IMAKE LIGA project operates in the territories where Nornickel operates – in Norilsk, the Taimyr municipal district, Monchegorsk, the Pechenga district of the Murmansk region, Chita, and the Gazimuro-Zavodsky district of the Trans-Baikal region. It supports and promotes engineering developments, develops the creative potential and creativity of children and adolescents. Within the IMAKE LIGA, an engineering marathon for schoolchildren, the Arctic Wave festival of scientific discoveries and other events are held.
Earlier, Nornickel topped the corporate responsibility rating.
