#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In 2024, in the capital of the Total Dictation project – Tomsk – they will try out a new format of the event: Total Weeks. If the activity is successful, it will be extended throughout Russia.
The readers on April 20 are Sergey Bezrukov, Mikhail Boyarsky, Elizaveta Arzamasova, Arina Sharapova, Lera Kudryavtseva, Yana Churikova and other actors, athletes, TV presenters, singers and writers. The main site of the event will be in the Rubin congress center in the capital of Total Dictation – Tomsk, where the text will be dictated by the author, Russian writer and journalist Anna Matveyeva.
First Total Weeks will also be held in Tomsk this year. They will be full of events dedicated to the Russian language, literature and communication: lectures, intensive courses, film screenings and others.
“The main idea of these events is to create a community of educators who, during the Total Weeks, will show participants that language and literature are interesting, multifaceted, permeate all areas of our lives and surround us everywhere, and philologists and writers are cool guys. The program will be divided into blocks: Language, Literature and Communication”, commented Vyacheslav Belyakov, director of the Total Dictation Foundation.
He also noted that if the new format finds a response, it will be extended to other regions.
