#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In the tenth anniversary season of the popular TV show The Voice, Elina Pan from Norilsk performed on Channel One. And from the first notes she won the hearts of the jury and millions of TV viewers.
At the blind auditions, the girl performed with the song I’m Every Woman by Whitney Houston from the Hollywood movie The Bodyguard. The first of the jury to turn to Elina was Dima Bilan, and at the end of the song Leonid Agutin gave her his preference. Alexander Gradsky and Pelageya also offered the Norilsk woman to join their team, but she chose Bilan.
“It was a tough choice. But even before going on stage, I decided that I would choose someone who would really look at me with a desire to join the team, not because I like somebody more as an artist or a person”, the singer shared after the performance.
The girl also noted that although Norilsk is a harsh city, there are many talented people in it.
“I want to win. I don’t like half measures, I don’t want to just come and show myself. If I come, I will fight. And this project is an important experience for me”, Elina believes.
