#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Tourism Development Center and the Norilsk Development Agency, with the mayor office’s support, have prepared several unique and free excursions and hikes in honor of International Tourism Day.
Citizens will be able to see Norilsk in a different way by visiting the First House. In addition, the museum invites everybody on a tour about the Severnaya Zemlya archipelago, where guests will get acquainted with Nikolay Urvantsev’s materials, 1810 objects.
The Arctic Crypto Expedition will take place through the historical places of the Old City, and then citizens will visit the workshops of the mining enterprise, which houses cryptocurrency mining equipment. The Eternal Summer excursion is a visit to the Norilsk greenhouse gardens with the northern harvest tasting. In addition, the organizers invite enthusiasts to hike to 12 waterfalls in the vicinity of Haraelah, as well as the Olor river valley. All excursions will take place from September 18 to 22.
