#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The core of the Internet resource is an interactive 3D map that replicates in detail the infrastructure of the Big Norilsk. The platform is equipped with a time scale – up to 2035, with which you can see how the city is changing from year to year.
The new resource provides a convenient user interface. Coordinators from the Norilsk Development Agency worked on the technical specifications in collaboration with two stakeholders, renovation operators – the renovation department of the city administration and the Nornickel project office.
“Walking” inside your hometown – real and future – is very interesting: hovering over Komsomolskaya street in 2023 – you can see a glowing viaduct, looking into 2026 and moving to the area of lake Dolgoye – you can a new lyceum standing not far from the shore. Landscaping and other options are also displayed.
The resource creates the effect of complete immersion. Overall, the web platform is designed as a convenient way to get a comprehensive picture of the Norilsk renewal. Here you can receive information about urban change projects in general or study areas of interest for renovation.
“Currently the platform contains 3D models of all residential buildings in Norilsk, sociocultural and other objects. The resource presents models of all objects that are planned to be built, reconstructed and improved until 2035, as part of a comprehensive plan and programs that the mayor’s office and the company are implementing beyond it”, Maxim Mironov, the NDA director, said about the resource.
