#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In the ninth round of the Superleague, Norilsk Nickel is hosting the CPRF FC. The first game of the two-legged confrontation is notable for being the first in the newly opened sports facility.
The Norilsk people opened the scoring in the match: in the third minute Zanotto rushed along the right flank, shot to the far post, where Rodriginho successfully closed the pass – 1:0. Thus, the Norilsk nickel legionnaire became the first player to score in the new sports hall.
On the sixth minute, the score doubled when the same Rodriginho, without encountering much resistance, hit the target from a deadly position – 2:0. Five minutes before the break, he also scored a hat-trick, like a free kick, – 3:0. But this was not enough for the Brazilian: at the end of the half, he caught the opponent on a mistake and brought the score to 4:0 with a blow from a distance.
The gap between the hosts could have been even more impressive, but they failed to convert the 10-meter shot twice.
It took the guests less than a minute at the beginning of the second half to break up the score: Alexander Fukin struck powerfully on goal, Ivan Poddubny hit the ball unsuccessfully, and Arsen Bagirov played for finishing – 4:1.
The teams continued to play on a collision course. Fouled often. As a result, in one of the episodes (in the 39th minute), a skirmish almost broke out, which ended with the removal of the CPRF captain Romulo.
However, in the 44th minute, the guests went for broke and replaced the goalkeeper with the fifth field goal. And this brought the result: three minutes before the end of the meeting, Yanar Asadov scored – 4:2 – the historic victory of Norilsk Nickel in the new home arena.
Tomorrow, December 18, the teams will hold the second meeting of the round. The beginning is at 18.00. The broadcast will also be available on the Severny Gorod TV company website.
