#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The schoolchildren were awarded scholarships and vouchers to the International Summer Creative School in the city of Suzdal.
Let us remind you that the competition among young musicians and artists was held in our city for the first time thanks to the Norilsk Development Agency, the city administration, the Nornickel company and the New Names charitable foundation named after Ivette Voronova. As a rule, the competition is held at the level of regional centers.
In 2019, Denis Matsuev, one of the first scholarship holders of the competition, and now a world-renowned pianist and president of this charitable organization, performed in Norilsk and was very impressed by the city. It was he who suggested finding new names here.
According to experts, in the northern city, they chose as many scholars as the whole regions usually give.
15 musicians and 17 artists took part in the creative competition. The winners: cellist Lidiya Bobrova, student of the Norilsk College of Arts, Irina Kozlova and Elizaveta Shvetsova, students of the children’s art school, and guitarist Stanislav Kolomiets, student of the Norilsk children’s music school.
In February, the Norilsk winners will be able to participate in the 1st all-Russian competition for scholarship holders of the New Names Foundation, which is supported by the Presidential Grants Fund.
