#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The 33rd international autumn food exhibition WorldFood Moscow 2024 was held in Moscow at the Crocus Expo site, organized by the ITE company. The event annually opens the business season and brings together professionals and leaders of the food industry. The organizers dedicated one of the expert sessions of the program to the Norilsk Development Agency (NDA) and the Norilsk community of restaurateurs.
More than 1100 companies from 28 countries and more than 60 Russian regions presented their products at the exhibition. The NDA presented its experience of developing Norilsk gastronomic culture at the WorldFood HoReCa site, where the international consulting company in the field of hospitality, retail and foodtech Like4Like acted as a strategic partner.
The speaker of the expert discussion Gastronomic Strategy of the Territory – Approaches to Development, Implementation and First Results was Oksana Bruyaka, a specialist in the NDA’s business environment development direction.
The author and ideological inspirer of the Norilsk gastronomic community shared with colleagues the experience of uniting like-minded restaurateurs and told how the modern gastronomic culture of Norilsk began.
“Today, for the development of the gastronomy industry, it is important to be able to unite and work in a team. In this complex process, a significant role is played by a common development strategy, developed taking into account current trends and challenges. The experience of the Norilsk Development Agency is interesting to colleagues, because it shows that the implementation of the gastronomy development strategy can become a real driver for the development of the entire service economy of the city. We see the results, including in revenue, which reaches 25 percent. By the way, the average figure in the region is seven percent”, said Oksana Bruyaka.
Since 2022, the Norilsk Development Agency has been transforming the gastronomy industry, which is one of the key components of the city’s service economy. The large-scale project is being implemented comprehensively and in all areas of the public catering system.
