#ARCTIC. #SIBERIAN. THIS IS TAIMYR. Today at the Krasnoyarsk Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin a ceremony of summing up the results of the Theater Spring – 2020 regional festival was held. For the first time in history, this happened online – due to the epidemic situation in the region.
Recall that following the results of the creative seasons of 2019-2020, the Polar Drama Theater presented four performances to the festival: Dad by Florian Zeller staged by Anna Babanova, Timur Fairuzov’s work My Brother based on Vasily Shukshin, Dreams of the White Land staged and based on Evgeniy Ibragimov’s libretto and last year’s New Year fairy tale The Snow Queen by H. Ch. Andersen directed by Anna Babanova.
In order to select performances worthy of the main theater festival in Krasnoyarsk, well-known theater critics visited Norilsk before the pandemic.
And finally, the results of the festival were announced. Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Rebriy was recognized as the laureate in the Best Actor in a Drama Performance category for creating the image of Andre in the play Dad.
By the way, in the outgoing year, the artist, beloved by the Norilsk people, was honored more than once. In March, by the decree of the President of Russia, Sergey Rebriy was awarded the 1st degree of the Merit for the Fatherland Order’s medal, and a little earlier for the play Dad – Rebriy, and his stage partner Varvara Babayants received the Spectator Recognition – People’s Regional Theater Award – in the Best Actor and Actress category.
It should be noted that the list of nominees for the Theater Spring festival also included the names of directors and artists of the Norilsk Drama Theater.
