Since 2001, the rating of top managers has been prepared and presented by the Association of Managers and the Kommersant publishing house. The Top 1000 is an annual award given to the most distinguished representatives of the Russian business community with the highest professional reputation.
The top list is formed by industry experts according to the principle ‘the best choose the best’. It is an important tool for assessing the professional reputation of Russian top executives. The study summarizes the results of the top management’s work for a year and identifies leaders in industries and functional areas.
The managers who take the leading places in the rating become nominees for the final award of the Association of Managers. The laureates of the award are determined by the Top-1000 Award Academy members’ voting.
The Nornickel top management is widely represented among the leaders of this year, the press office of the company reported. The head of Nornickel, Vladimir Potanin, traditionally entered the rating in the Business Leader nomination. Number one in their nominations in the metallurgy and mining industry were: senior vice president – chief financial officer of Nornickel Sergey Malyshev (Financial Directors), senior vice president – head of HR, social policy and public relations Larisa Zelkova (Directors of Public and Corporate Relations), vice president Vladimir Zhukov (Directors of Investor Relations) and state secretary – vice president for government relations and administration Dmitry Pristanskov (Directors of Government Relations).
Among the 50 best directors for legal affairs is Marianna Zaharova, first vice president, head of the corporate, shareholder and legal affairs unit. Vice president – head of sales and commerce Anton Berlin is in the top 100 best marketing directors. Darya Kryachkova, vice president for HR, is among the top 100 HR directors. Corporate secretary Pavel Platov entered the top 50 corporate governance directors, and Svetlana Ivchenko, director of the social policy department, entered the top 25 corporate social responsibility directors. Also among the 25 best directors for logistics and supply chains is the director of the logistics department Ravil Nasybullov.
