#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The little musk ox is still getting used to the enclosure and tries not to stray far from his mother, and she carefully protects him from the slightest danger.
The musk ox’s guardian posted information about the calf on his social networks, and subscribers offered their name options: Yenisey, Taimyr, Syoga, Sever and Akela. But the choice still fell on the name Taimyr.
The furniture company’s press service explained that the name Taimyr will remind of the place from which Alana was rescued.
The musk ox Taimyr may become Alana’s groom. The Krasnoyarsk flora and fauna park Royev Rouchey’s employees say that this handsome guy has every chance of building a family with the northern girl.
“With Taimyr, Alana will be like behind a stone wall”, experts explained.
Let us remind you that a year ago in Taimyr a newborn musk ox was found next to its deceased mother. Shift geologists took the calf to a geological exploration site and named it Alana. The calf was brought to Hatanga, and from there by plane – to Krasnoyarsk. The Royev Rouchey employees managed to rescue the girl, and the whole country closely monitored her fate. And now the moment has come when another musk ox is being considered as a potential beau for the people’s favorite Alana.
