#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The new Edges of Tourism project’s series, launched by the Norilsk Development Agency (ARN) and Severny Gorod Media Company, is dedicated to historical tourism.
The Taimyr Explorers Club is developing a new tourist route around Norilsk with many bright locations that tells about the city’s construction and development’s history.
The ARN said:
The route will pass through the Mount Schmidt gorge and will be affordable even for unprepared tourists. From July, everyone will be able to walk along it in the experienced Norilsk guides’ company.
In the meantime a new project’s series can be viewed on the ARN’s official You-Tube channel and you can get detailed information about excursions in Norilsk and its environs on the Taimyr Explorers Club’s website.
Let us remind that the tourist and recreational cluster Arctic with the area of almost 900 thousand square meters unites the Taimyr Peninsula with the cities of Norilsk, Dudinka, lots of villages and the archipelago Severnaya Zemlya. One of the most inaccessible territories in the world has enormous tourism potential. The ARN has been systematically working on the development of this area since 2018.
