#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. At the Hatanga airport, the runway is being repaired and a block module for a new terminal is being erected.
The builders have already prepared the foundation, installed the walls and the roof. The modular terminal building will house a waiting room, a toilet, check-in counters, a baggage claim rooms for passengers with children, a police office, a weapons storage and sanitary rooms. All airport services will be located inside the building.
“Already today, Hatanga airport is 100 percent provided with special vehicles for technical and commercial servicing of passengers and aircraft. The construction of a new block module of the air terminal is in full swing. Passengers will be able to appreciate the advantages and comfort of the passenger terminal very soon”, said Tatyana Valter, representative of the federal Krasnoyarsk Airports state enterprise (FKP).
Let us remind you that in 2019 the airport with a rather worn-out infrastructure was transferred to operational management of the FKP Krasnoyarsk Airports. Due to the harsh climate and complex and expensive logistics, the period for the work is short, so the airport infrastructure has to be rebuilt in parts.
