The Russian State Expertise main directorate issued a positive conclusion on the construction of air transport support facilities, which is associated with the assignment of international status to Norilsk airport last year.
“At the first stage of the airfield infrastructure construction, they plan to create a landing pad for helicopters, an apron for eight aircraft parking spaces with anchor mounts, and an aircraft de-icing area. Taxiways will be built on the airfield, including one exit”, said Dmitry Bratko, an expert from the State Expertise main directorate.
Both taxiways and the landing pad will be equipped with lighting equipment. At the second stage, they plan to build a service and passenger building, hangars for storing aircraft, a service center for aircraft maintenance and repair, a garage with a repair unit for special equipment, as well as the necessary complex of engineering and transport infrastructure structures to ensure the operation of the new facility.
The developer is the UNIKOM-M company, they add on the portal. The general designer is the production and construction enterprise Quality and Reliability (KiN).
