In 2025, the images of the Krasnoyarsk Kommunalny bridge, the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa chapel and the hydroelectric power station will disappear from the ten-ruble banknote. Unique objects of Novosibirsk will appear on the banknote. Currently, specialists from the Central Bank are choosing the landmarks. Among the options there are: the Novosibirsk opera and ballet theater, the technology park towers, the Bugrinsky bridge.
After the selection, Goznak will create sketches, and then they will be submitted to the Bank of Russia for approval.
Recall that Krasnoyarsk has been featured on ten-ruble notes for 25 years. Banknote issuance ceased in 2013.
