Krasnoyarsk international airport has claimed second place in the XI Air Gates of Russia awards for the Best Airport in the category for airports handling between two and six million passengers per year. This esteemed industry award is presented annually to the most successful and consistently developing airports in the country.
This year, Krasnoyarsk airport has competed with several other airports, including Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Kaliningrad (Hrabrovo), Ufa, Irkutsk, Kurumoch, Vladivostok, Mahachkala, Tyumen (Roshchino), Habarovsk, Surgut, Chelyabinsk, and Perm.
In 2024, Krasnoyarsk airport undertook significant projects to enhance its infrastructure, expand its route offerings, and improve hospitality services and safety. We ranked among the top three airports in Russia for annual passenger growth.
