The VI All-Russian festival of small-numbered Finno-Ugric and Samoyed peoples will celebrate its tenth anniversary in Vyborg from 18 to 21 September.
The ethnofestival will be attended by representatives from different regions of Russia. The delegation of the small Finno-Ugric and Samoyed peoples of the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets municipal district will also go there.
Creative groups will present their unique art in the genres of dance, song and instrumental music at the festival. The participants will acquaint spectators with traditional folk games, give master classes in arts and crafts.
Within the festival’s framework, a round table will be held, at which the leaders of national-cultural associations, culture, art and science workers will discuss aspects of preserving and developing the heritage of the small peoples of Russia.
