#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Today, the fifth Arctic expedition The Icebreaker of Knowledge is heading from Murmansk to the North Pole on the nuclear-powered icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy.
The Icebreaker of Knowledge – 2024 will arrive at the pole approximately on August 17 and will return back to the port of Murmansk on August 22. The nuclear-powered icebreaker will be led by captain Ruslan Sasov along the route Murmansk – North Pole – Franz Josef Land – Murmansk.
This time, there will be a team of talented schoolchildren and experts from 15 countries on board. Many foreign participants in the voyage will be the first representatives of their countries to reach the North Pole on a nuclear-powered icebreaker.
During the expedition, the participants will have an educational program, a series of lectures The Northernmost Lecture Hall and a documentary reality series will be filmed.
