#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. More than two thousand people attended the VI leader-forum Additive Technologies – the Reality of Technological Leadership – the key annual event of the Russian 3D printing industry, which was held in Moscow, in the Atom pavilion at VDNKh. The organizer was the Russian Additive Technologies Development Association with the support of the Rosatom state corporation and the Moscow government.
The forum presented the most advanced technologies, innovative developments and unique projects that allow expanding the horizons of using additive technologies in various industries, from industry to medicine.
Nornickel representatives were among the experts at the forum. Yulia Manchuk, chief manager of charity and corporate community development of the Social Policy Department, talked about the IMAKE Inventors League project.
In the youth track Additive Living Room: the World in Layers: Can Everything Be Printed? IMAKE legionnaire, winner of the international inventions exhibition IEYI in Taiwan, Norilsk resident Ernest Kashapov gave a report on the topic Engineer At 17: How To Understand That You are an Inventor and Customize a 3D Printer for Your Tasks?
As part of the presentation, Ernest talked about his invention – a device that automatically colors the filament for multi-color 3D printing. The young inventor, together with his mentor Nikolay Sunchugashev, created a unique method of dyeing the thread using three colors, and also developed open software for convenient use of the device.
