#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Krasnoyarsk region has joined the largest environmental cleanup event in Russia, Green Spring – 2024. The project has been operating since 2014, having involved more than 22 million people from all over Russia.
The event is organized by the Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation named after V. I. Vernadsky.
This year, the cleanup will be held in two stages: from April 20 to May 25 and from May 20 to June 30. Registration for participation takes place on the organizers’ website.
Participants can be companies and corporations, public and environmental organizations, volunteer centers, preschool, secondary and higher educational institutions, continuing education centers, as well as anyone who cares about environmental issues.
Cleaning and landscaping, environmental education campaigns, planting of trees and flowers and other events will take place in populated areas of the region.
The organizers will celebrate the winners and activists of the environmental marathon, reports the Krasnoyarsk region government’s press service.
