Earth is not in ice age danger

February 05, 2024

The warm climate on the planet will remain for about ten thousand years.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Our planet is in the middle of another interglacial period. The warm climate will continue for about ten thousand years. This was stated by the minister of natural resources and ecology of Russia Alexander Kozlov with reference to scientists from the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI).

The data presented relate to natural climate changes, but it is necessary to add to them anthropogenic impacts that can aggravate the situation, experts say.

“It is necessary to study and better understand the mechanisms of climate change. And it is the ice core that makes it possible not only to restore the history of the Earth’s climate, but also to study these mechanisms and improve forecasts of future global climate changes”, added Vladimir Lipenkov, head of the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Change at the AARI, at the meeting with the Russian president.

Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that the climate catastrophe on Earth is a big exaggeration.
