#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The declaration in which the idea of an “emergency climate situation” on Earth was disputed is signed by 1609 climate researchers from around the world, of which two are Nobel Prize laureates.
One of the main theses of the document is “the need for a significant reduction in CO2 emissions is a myth”. As well as an “emergency climatic situation, which does not exist”.
Researchers urge their colleagues to critically approach the uncertainty and exaggerations of climate forecasts and not to criminalize carbon dioxide emissions. No need to succumb to panic, generated by conversations about the allegedly impending catastrophe.
The document notes that the Earth climate regularly changed in the entire history of its existence. The planet has experienced both cooling and even hot phases many times. Scientists recall that the so-called small ice age ended just 170 years ago, and warming occurs much more slowly than the previously predicted intergovernmental group of climate change experts.
Scientists also argue that carbon dioxide for all living things on Earth is more favorable, since plant biomass and agricultural crop cultures around the world are growing with it. The statement is refuted that global warming contributes to an increase in the number of natural disasters – hurricanes, floods, drought.
“The science of the climate has turned into a sensational pseudo-assum, which has become a scapegoat for many unrelated troubles. It was promoted and distributed by unprecedented commercial marketers, politicians, journalists, government institutions and environmental defenders”, the Russian newspaper quoted the Nobel Prize in physics, Dr. John F. Clauser.
In response to global initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, researchers say that this goal is not only unrealistic, but also dangerous for the global economy.
