#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Currently, work is underway to republish the album Our Dikson, which will include a new chapter. This edition will feature previously unpublished poems from various years and photographs taken between 2015 and 2025.
“We invite everyone to take part in this important project by sharing their poems and photographs on a variety of themes. We’re looking for moments that capture the spirit of the times, the beauty of nature, events, and faces – everything that makes Dikson unique. Photos can be taken with a phone or camera, but please ensure they are not blurry. It might just be your photo or poem that leaves a lasting mark in the history of Dikson for years to come”, states the Our Taimyr page, citing the settlement’s administration.
Designers are also encouraged to participate in a competition to create anniversary symbols for the 110th anniversary of Dikson:
“Three winners will be chosen for each category of the competition for the best anniversary symbols: emblem/logo, banner, and badge – each winner will receive five thousand rubles. Additionally, there’s a cash prize of seven thousand rubles for the winner of the design competition for the anniversary medal”.
The results of the competition and the announcement of the winners are scheduled for March.
