The leaders in the number of offers in the hospitality sector over nine months are Moscow – 20 percent of all vacancies, St. Petersburg – 10, Moscow region – 7, and Krasnoyarsk region – 6 percent. In addition, the region entered the top ten territories with high demand for personnel in the restaurant and hotel sector. It is in 8th place among 83 regions, and this is 2 percent of all vacancies in this direction opened in 2024 in the Russian Federation. The study was conducted by analysts of the job search platform hh.ru.
In Krasnoyarsk Region, more than 11.3 thousand vacancies were opened in the field of tourism, hotel and restaurant business, which is 20 percent more than in the same period last year. For comparison: in the country as a whole, demand increased by 26 percent over the same period.
The most sought-after specialists in the restaurant and hotel industry were cooks/bakers/pastry chefs – 20 percent of the total number of vacancies, as well as waiters/bartenders/baristas – 16 percent, and restaurant managers – 5 percent.
In August, the average salary offered in the professional field of tourism, hotels and restaurants in Krasnoyarsk region was about 51 thousand rubles. Since the beginning of the year this amount has increased by 27 percent.
