In the summer, numerous repairs took place in the cultural institutions of Taimyr. In the family reading library in Dudinka, the floors were repaired, the walls were repainted, stretch ceilings and LED lights, as well as steel radiators were installed.
“In the choreography building of the children’s art school, the current renovation of the dance hall, the theory room, changing rooms, and the teacher’s room has been completed. The walls were putty, plastered and painted. For the convenience of the dancers, a new high-strength laminate has been laid in the choreography hall, new barres have been installed. In addition, the furniture in the changing rooms has been updated, new desks and chairs have appeared in the theory class”, said the specialists of cultural department of the municipal district administration.
In the rural settlement of Karaul, repairs were carried out in the house of culture. Now the building of the village folk art center is being renovated, and an auction for the repair of the roof at the children’s art school has also been held.
In Khatanga, the premises of the central library were renovated. In the children’s art school, the drainage and water supply systems were replaced, the entrance lobbies and staircases inside the building were put in order. In the Khatanga house of culture, plumbing works of the building and flushing of the heating system were carried out.
By the end of November, it is planned to replace the window and door blocks in the rural house of culture in the village of Katyryk, as well as insulate the floors in the auditorium of the house of culture in the village of Khatanga.
More than nine million rubles have been allocated from the local budget for repairs in cultural institutions in Taimyr this year.
