#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Children of the Arctic animated series first season’s final tenth episode has been published on the detiarktiki.rf portal.
The cartoon’s main characters – a wild reindeer, polar bear, Anya and Vitya – travel across the tundra and explore the world. Friends get into different troubles, but they always help each other out and achieve their goals.
Until the end of the year, the animated series will be professionally dubbed in English. This was reported by the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
Let us remind you that the information and educational project Children of the Arctic is dedicated to the preservation of the linguistic diversity of the Russian North. The heroes of the project are Vepsians, Sami, Nenets, Khanty, Dolgans, Enets, Nganasans, Yukagirs, Evens, Selkups, Evenks, Itelmens, Koryaks, Chukchi, Eskimos – bearers of unique languages and cultures, representatives of 15 indigenous peoples of the North, including Taimyr.
The portal introduces the rare languages of the peoples of the Arctic and helps to learn useful phrases on various topics. In addition to language courses, the project website contains thematic multimedia materials about the culture and life of the peoples of the North, video tours and reviews of existing resources dedicated to the peoples of the Arctic. The portal also has a separate children’s section. It contains fairy tales of the peoples of the North, recorded during expeditions, and interactive game tasks.
Earlier, we reported that all the information and news about the indigenous minorities were collected on one Internet resource, and in early 2022 a marketplace will start operating, where it would be possible to buy the products of masters of indigenous ethnic groups.
