#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A mobile hut (balok) on skids has appeared in Hatanga, which is designed to transport tourists. The house-shaped structure can be moved using a snowmobile, so it will be used to meet travelers at the airport and then deliver them to the hotel.
Inside the vehicle there is a sleeping place, a stove, and on the floor there are seats made from the skins of wolverine, bear, deer, sable, arctic fox and wolf. The room capacity is from six to eight people.
There are also lockers for food, utensils, clothes and tools necessary in the tundra. The carriage is decorated with the Taimyr tourism cluster symbols.
The tour operator brought this unusual method of transportation to life in order to acquaint the Hatanga residents and guests with the nomadic dwelling of the Taimyr indigenous peoples. In addition, in the gully you can go for river winter fishing or just to admire the northern lights in the tundra.
