At the Komsomolsky mine, the miners were congratulated and presented with awards by the senior vice president of Nornickel, the Norilsk division head, Nikolay Utkin. 45 people received awards.
“Dear colleagues, friends, dear miners!”, Nikolay Utkin addressed to the miners. “The professional holiday of the Norilsk miners is always a good occasion to congratulate people who are devoted to their work. This is an opportunity to highlight the importance of your work. We all know that the mining industry of our company is the basis for the good work of Nornickel. The mining industry is advanced in every sense of the word. But this would not have happened if you had not treated your work that way: carefully, with consciousness and professionalism, and what is most important, with the dedication that you always demonstrate. Thanks to your dedication to work, we are leading today”.
At the Octyabrsky mine, Talgat Mushtekenov, deputy director of the Nornickel Polar Branch Mineral Resources Complex, congratulated colleagues on their professional holiday. In other mining divisions, the best miners were honored by their leaders too.
“Today we thank people devoted to their work”, Talgat Mushtekenov addressed the heroes of the day. “Thanks to the entire mineral resource complex, our company is developing and flourishing. And the Octyabrsky mine is at the origins of any new technologies, the use of any new mining equipment. It is one of the largest and most powerful enterprises of Nornickel. I sincerely congratulate you, dear friends, on our professional holiday!”
14 Norilsk miners received state awards today, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation awarded 162 people, corporate honorable badges were presented to 19 employees of the company, and 197 employees got the insignia of the Nornickel Polar Branch.
Seven people received awards from the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk region, 18 northerners got those of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk region, the head of Norilsk awarded 119 people, the head of Taimyr – five miners. In total, 541 people were awarded in celebration of the holiday.
