#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. At the Victor Astafiev Center, which is located in Ovsyanka, in the writer’s home village, an interactive art object Headphones has been installed – part of the large-scale project Promenade along Ovsyanka.
This outdoor exhibit works by converting mechanical energy into electrical one. To use it, visitors need to twist the handle that charges the device. After this, the audio guide will offer to listen to excerpts from Astafiev’s works, voiced by the leading soloist of the Krasnoyarsk regional philharmonic Vitaly Osipov, Newslab reports.
In total, ten complete fragments from the writer’s works are loaded into the headphones.
The creation of the Headphones exhibit is timed to coincide with the centenary anniversary of Victor Astafiev’s birth and allows visitors to discover the thoughts and work of the great Russian writer while walking through his native village.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that Victor Astafiev’s birth certificate with the new date of birth was found in Krasnoyarsk archives.
