#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The VI International festival-competition Christmas Moscow Lights took place in Moscow. The Arctic Pearl exemplary children’s choreographic ensemble of the children’s art school named after. B.N. Molchanov attended the festival.
The ensemble of 26 participants presented four choreographic compositions for the competition. Among 12 groups and 930 participants from different regions of the country, students of the art school became laureates of the 1st and 2nd degrees in the Folk Dance category and 1st degree winners in the Stylized Dance category.
The children also visited memorable places in the capital and got acquainted with its sights. Children, under the guidance of teachers Vera Ivanova and Yulia Bessonova, visited Red Square and Vorobyovy Hills, enjoyed views of the Kremlin and the Novodevichy convent, St. Basil’s cathedral and the Alexander’s garden. The children also had pleasant impressions from walking along Old Arbat, visiting the Mosfilm film studio and the main exhibition of the country – VDNKh.
