Arctic ice can melt completely

October 15, 2020

The Arctic may be left without glaciers in 15 years.

The fact is the Arctic ice can completely melt, said British scientists, who appealed to the leaders of world powers with a request to implement programs to curb global warming.

According to the portal Replyua.net, climatologists have been analyzing the state of the northern hemisphere for a long time during the warmest period in the modern history of the Earth, which was observed about 125 thousand years ago. Scientists fear that the Arctic may be left without glaciers by 2035. At the same time, many of them argue about what period the Earth enters into – global warming or cooling. But everyone agrees: the climate is getting warmer, the temperature continues rising.

“We know that the Arctic is changing a lot under the influence of global warming. The very possibility that by 2035 it may remain without ice cover should force humanity to more actively fight global warming”, Replyua.net quotes the authors of the report.
