#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Alexander Panayotov congratulated Norilsk on City Day, Metallurgist Day and Company Day and presented a program of his popular and new songs.
The singer, author and composer told what impressions the Norilsk public and the city as a whole made on him:
“Every performance on City Day, and I’ve had enough of them in my twenty-year career, is always a big challenge. Because the people who came were of completely different ages, with different musical preferences. And this is a huge responsibility to give a holiday to everyone. Usually such concerts take place when it’s already dark, but here, as I understand, this doesn’t happen at this time, but it’s even better, because I saw absolutely every person, every face – and they all glowed!”
Alexander shared that he really liked the energy of the Norilsk people and the city as a whole, and even noted that although he was born in the south, he is a northern person by nature.
“Metallurgist Day is perhaps one of the most frequent events I attend. I have been to many cities in Siberia, to Murmansk, but for Metallurgist Day to coincide with City Day, this is the first time. Today, for the first time in front of a general public, I performed the songs The Sea Inside and Eternity. And this will now remain with me as part of history”, shared Alexander Panayotov. “For me and for my team, coming to Norilsk is an event! I know that many of my artists did not sleep last night, but traveled around the city and got to know it”.
The artist also congratulated metallurgists and emphasized that this profession is one of the most difficult and responsible.
In conclusion, Alexander Panayotov wished Norilsk residents “restraint, steely character, optimism, happiness and health”.
