#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The enterprises of the Nornickel Polar Division continue implementing effective proposals received from employees under the production initiatives program launched in July 2018. Ideas that bring tangible benefits and economic profits are offered by miners, metallurgists, ore concentrators, and transport workers.
By the 1st of November, 16 732 initiatives were accepted in the Polar Division, including 259 in August. Of the total number of proposals, 11 108 ones were submitted by managers, specialists and employees, another 5 624 – by workers.
Since the beginning of the project, the Octyabrsky mine has taken the leading positions among the subdivisions of the Polar Division – 3 446 initiatives, the Nadezhda metallurgical plant – 2 531 initiatives, the Copper plant – 2 507 initiatives, and the Komsomolsky mine – 1 568 initiatives.
16 268 initiatives have already been considered, 7 597 of them were found useful. The introduction of those proposals has no economic effect, but it does affect the improvement of working conditions, an increase in the level of safety and production culture.
445 adopted initiatives have potential economic impact. Now they are undergoing technical and economic expertise. 292 initiatives have been accepted for implementation, 225 of them have already been implemented with an expected annual economic effect of 1 111.5 million rubles.
For the submission and use of production initiatives, employees of the Polar Division were awarded remuneration in the amount of more than 11.4 million rubles.
