#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Krasnoyarsk region ranks 16th in the country by the number of students in higher and secondary vocational education. Currently, 143.5 thousand people study in the region, Krasnoyarskstat reports.
There are 14 universities in the region, where 66.7 thousand people study. 7 out of 10 students receive education full-time. Every third student studies on a fee-paying basis. 47 percent of full-time students receive an academic scholarship, 133 people have been awarded scholarships from Russia president and government.
76.8 thousand people receive secondary vocational education in Krasnoyarsk in 102 institutions. 87 percent study full-time. Every fourth student studies on a fee-paying basis. 48 percent of full-time students receive an academic scholarship, 106 people have been awarded scholarships from the Government of Russia.
