#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. “The man saw my works on the Internet and wanted to collaborate with me. At first, he asked to make just a snake, but during the conversation we agreed that it would be a cobra”, Leonid said.
The work took about three weeks, and in the end the sculptor created an elegant work, which consists mainly of nuts. The hood made of forks and spoons gave the snake an impressive and natural look.
“I had some details, and some were brought by caring citizens. One friend, for example, gave me an old disassembled screwdriver, and I took the gears from there, which decorated the cobra’s head”, Leonid added.
The finished product is 32 centimeters high and 54 centimeters long. The reptile turned out to be alive, it seems that in a second its flexible and sinuous body will begin to move. Any detail in the hands of a passionate craftsman acquires a new life. Thus, the presser foot from a sewing machine turned into the snake’s tongue, which froze in an eternal moment.
According to Leonid, the customer completely trusted the talented Talnah resident and asked not to show him the finished product until the last moment.
“There are different clients, some ask to send photos of each stage of the work, and some want to see only the final result. I not only love what I do, it is also important for me to receive emotions from customers, I like to see how they are impressed by the result of my creativity. I am sure that this cobra will bring me and its owner luck this year and ever”, the metal sculptor noted.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that a Talnah metal master “brought to life” Baty-han.
