#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The call for applications for the new season of the IMAKE 2021 young inventors competition has been extended until March 30. Let us remind you that the competition is held by Nornickel in the territories of presence – in Norilsk, Taimyr municipal district, Monchegorsk, Pechengsky district of the Murmansk region, Chita, Gazimuro-Zavodsky district.
Students from 10 to 17 years old can become participants. To participate in the extramural stage, you need to come up with an idea of a useful invention, create an illustration, add a slogan to it, record a video in which the author talks about his invention, and put it together with the illustration on one of the social networks. In April, the contestants will be trained in public speaking for the presentation of projects.
At the second stage, you will need to defend your project in front of the commission. Based on the results, the jury will select six strongest projects. Their authors will be invited to participate in the Design School for free.
“Here the guys will study English and public speaking. Upon graduation from the Project School, the jury members will decide on the participation of each student in the International Exhibition of Young Inventors as part of the Russian delegation”, the organizers said.
As a reminder, the competition has been running since 2018 and is a project of the Create line of The World of New Opportunities Nornickel’s corporate charitable program.
