#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The family photo competition from the Severny Gorod media company not only gives Norilsk residents the opportunity to win a restaurant certificate, but also provides all participants with free tickets to performances thanks to the Polar drama theater’s support.
This time, mother of many children Tatyana Gelzhinis and her five children came to see The Mowgli Story production.
“These are not all of them. My two elder children live independently. My husband wanted to come with us, but couldn’t because of work”, she shared. “We often go to the theater, but it’s especially nice to attend a performance by invitation, which we won thanks to the photo competition”.
Tatyana herself is also from a large family: her mother had 11 children. To maintain warmth and strong bonds, parents need to spend more time with their children, such as attending events together, cooking or traveling, she said.
The Zhukov family also visited the theater to usefully spend their leisure time together. They also have a love for music and creativity.
“For the competition, we submitted a photo where we all play musical instruments, and this is not without reason: we are all connected with music”, said daughter Sofa. “Dad plays the guitar, I sing in the choir, brother Dima will go to music school next year, and mom is our ideological inspirer!”
As it turned out, the Zhukovs enjoy going to the theater and have watched almost all of the Polar drama theater’s productions. Such cultural outings with the whole family not only bring them closer together, but also develop a sense of beauty in children.
“After theater performances, our son puts on his own performances for us, with voice acting and dressing up, and he does a great job. Maybe we have a future sound engineer or actor growing up”, said mother Yulia.
The Nikolayev family, winners of the March stage of the photo competition, also decided to take advantage of the invitation, but visited the Polar theater for the first time.
“We love theater, but since we haven’t not lived in Norilsk for long, today is our debut. It’s very beautiful here, we really like it. In general, we are an active family, now we have started taking more photographs, because we would like to participate in the next stages of your family photo competition”, said Tatyana Nikolayeva.
