“We draw up questions on literature, the history of books publication. The next game will be dedicated to fairy tales, this is the wish of our players. They liked such questions, so this time we are preparing a thematic game,” said Yelena Kovalenko, the leading librarian of the Centralized Library System. – Last time, according to the participants’ opinion, the tournament was easy. But we do need to test the IQ of the players to understand what kind questions we should prepare. This time we’ll make them more difficult.”
The game takes place on the CLS YouTube channel. Questions are asked live, and teams send answers to a special number on WhatsApp. Just a minute is given to answer each of the 12 questions.
The time limit was for the participants not to be to google the answers. It takes a lot of time and effort for the organizers to make up questions difficult to find in Internet.
“But our smart participants still know where to look them for. That is why they have only a minute and their own mind,” says Elena.
She draws up questions together with Julia Koch, the head of the youth sector of the CLS. The air is conducted by Elena, Julia accepts the answers. “There are many interesting facts from the history of literature. And I want to tell people about it. You yourself read, you learn something new while preparing. This is a very big intellectual growth,” says Elena.
Judging by the reviews, the participants also liked this kind of intellectual leisure. The number of teams is growing. There are no age restrictions for participants, so you can play as a family, but not more than six people in a team. Each winner will be presented with a book from the library novelties. Also, the author of the most original answer receives a gift.
