During the three months RoboNickel is going to conduct training webinars within the distant education program. It consists of 18 courses, including programming in SCRATCH, KODU GAME LAB, designing in Lego Digital Design, as well as lessons on creating a champion robot for competitions. The online school will continue the distant learning program launched at RoboNickel in April this year.
The organizers of the project told TV-21 broadcaster that RoboNickel was launching practical courses as well. Within a month, participants are going to study electronics, learn how to create cartoons and games, compose algorithms and build 3D models. By the end of the course, each student will be able to create his own project. Not only RoboNickel students are invited to participate in the program, but also everyone who wants to get acquainted with the world of robotics. The training starts in late June.
More over, traditional summer intensives for young technicians are planned to be held. During a week, students will learn programming and design robots in “in person” mode. The start of intensives in the RoboNickel presence cities is scheduled for August.
RoboNickel is a joint educational project of the NorNickel company and the Cyber Class school of robotics, which started in 2017. It has been carried out in Norilsk, Dudinka, Nickel, Zapolyarny, Monchegorsk and Chita. The RoboNickel participants have won many prizes at major contests. So, in August 2019, they brought gold from Beijing, in December 2019 they won bronze at the robotics competitions in Thailand, and in February of this year they won five awards at the all-Russian competitions.
